Secondary school (Telesecundaria) is an educational model delivered through an educational platform and printed materials, guided by a teacher who supports and mentors students throughout the learning process.
Telesecundaria is a school-based educational model offered in rural and indigenous communities, through the broadcast-reception of content via satellite or cable television and its pedagogical intervention mediated by the teacher, who must also develop the remaining didactic strategies to achieve the Secondary Education graduate profile.
The Telesecundaria pedagogical model is characterized by the use of technological resources and teacher mediation to facilitate learning. Through the broadcast of audiovisual content, students have access to expert explanations in various subjects, while teachers complement and deepen this knowledge through in-person activities, promoting self-learning and collaborative work.
This approach allows students to develop research, analysis, and synthesis skills, fostering their autonomy and ability to solve everyday problems. The combination of television resources, printed materials, and teacher guidance creates a flexible learning environment adapted to the needs of each community.
